Michigan High School Basketball - Ashley trounced by Merrill

The Merrill Vandals routed the visiting Ashley Bears basketball team by a final score of 53-23 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Vandals face the Sacred Heart Academy Irish (Mt. Pleasant, MI) in a Mid-State game, on Tuesday, January 31. Merrill will attempt to move on its 3-11 season record. The Irish enter the game with a 9-5 record after their 32-26 league win over Fulton (Middleton, MI).
