The Lake Region Thunder basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Auburndale Bloodhounds to 35 in the Thunder non-league triumph on Friday.

The Thunder now sport a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Auburndale for a 5A District 7 contest on Tuesday, January 31. Lake Region will battle a Bloodhounds team coming off a 56-35 non-league loss to Lake Region (Eagle Lake, FL). The Bloodhounds record now stands at 2-13.

The Bloodhounds (2-13) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Region (Eagle Lake, FL). The Thunder enter the 5A District 7 contest with a 14-8 record. In their last contest, Lake Region triumphed over Auburndale (Auburndale, FL), 56-35, in a non-league contest.
