The Mount St. Mary Academy Belles basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Beebe Badgers to 30 in the Belles league triumph on Friday.
The Belles now sport a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vilonia for a 5A Central contest on Tuesday, January 31. Mount St. Mary Academy will meet a Eagles team coming off a 59-21 league win over Maumelle (Maumelle, AR). The Eagles record now stands at 16-4.
The Badgers (1-13) will now prepare for their contest against Little Rock Christian Academy (Little Rock, AR). The Warriors enter the 5A Central contest with a 16-6 record. In their last contest, Little Rock Christian Academy ran past Maumelle (Maumelle, AR), 81-32, in a league contest.
