Texas High School Basketball - Farwell overwhelms Bovina

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Farwell Steers (Farwell, TX) and the host Bovina Mustangs (Bovina, TX), saw Farwell's basketball squad wallop Bovina by a tally of 61-24.

With the victory, Farwell improves its record to 25-5 on the campaign. The Steers host Highland Park (Amarillo, TX) to confront the Hornets in a 2A Region I District 3 challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 3-16. Highland Park lost 62-33 in their recent league challenge against Vega (Vega, TX)

Next up, the Mustangs confront the Boys Ranch Roughriders (Boys Ranch, TX) in a 2A Region I District 3 challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Bovina will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record.
