Brick Memorial Mustangs (Brick, NJ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Toms River South Indians (Toms River, NJ), 46-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Brick Memorial upgrades its record to 8-17 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Matawan Regional (Aberdeen, NJ) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 28. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 1-15. Matawan Regional lost 65-30 in their recent non-league bout against Long Branch (Long Branch, NJ)

Next up, the Indians play the Ocean City Raiders (Ocean City, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 4. Toms River South will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record.
