In Friday's league match, the host Broad Run Spartans basketball team scored a tight 39-33 triumph over the Lightridge Bolts.
In their next game, the Spartans meet the Park View Patriots (Sterling, VA) in a Dulles match, on Tuesday, January 31. Broad Run will attempt to better on its 11-8 season record. The Patriots enter the match with a 7-10 record after their 60-43 league loss to Lightridge (Aldie, VA).
With the defeat, Lightridge moves to 9-10 on the year. The Bolts host Tuscarora (Leesburg, VA) to meet the Huskies in a Dulles match on Friday, February 3. The Huskies enter the match with a record of 15-2.
