In Friday's league outing, the Turner Ashby Knights (Bridgewater, VA) basketball squad beat the host Broadway Gobblers (Broadway, VA), by a count of 46-32.
The Knights (12-5) will now prepare for their outing against William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA). The Dragons go into the non-league outing with a 12-4 record. In their last outing, William Monroe was topped by Meridian (Falls Church, VA), 55-33, in a league outing.
The Gobblers now hold a 9-9 record. They play next when they travel to Staunton for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 31. Broadway will clash with a Storm squad coming off a 42-38 league loss to Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA). The Storm record now stands at 3-13.
