Minnesota High School Basketball - Buffalo knocked off by Edina

The Edina Hornets basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Buffalo Bison to 44 in the Hornets league triumph on Friday.
The Hornets now sport a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eden Prairie for a AAAA Section 2 contest on Tuesday, January 31. Edina will meet a Eagles team coming off a 54-52 non-league loss to Wayzata (Plymouth, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 12-6.
The Bison (3-13) will now prepare for their contest against Hopkins (Minnetonka, MN). The Royals enter the AAAA Section 6 contest with a 17-1 record. In their last contest, Hopkins was outscored by Providence Academy (Plymouth, MN), 87-80, in a non-league contest.
