The Burlington Wildcats basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting Iola Mustangs to 35 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Anderson County for a Pioneer contest on Tuesday, January 31. Burlington will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 58-13 non-league win over Central Heights (Richmond, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-4.
The Mustangs (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against Chanute (Chanute, KS). The Blue Comets come into the non-league contest with a 3-8 record.
