Spring Valley Timberwolves (Huntington, WV) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Cabell Midland Knights (Ona, WV), 65-52 in a league bout.

With the win, Spring Valley upgrades its record to 12-2 on the season. The Timberwolves travel to Fairland (Proctorville, OH) to play the Dragons in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 4. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 19-0.

Next up, the Knights play the Capital Cougars (Charleston, WV) in a Mountain State bout, on Thursday, February 2. Cabell Midland will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record.
