Texas High School Basketball - Calhoun tipped by Orange Grove

The Orange Grove Bulldogs basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Calhoun Sandcrabs to 43 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 21-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ingleside for a 4A Region IV District 30 contest on Tuesday, January 31. Orange Grove will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 52-36 league win over Calhoun (Port Lavaca, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 17-12.
The Sandcrabs (2-21) will now prepare for their contest against Sinton (Sinton, TX). The Pirates enter the 4A Region IV District 30 contest with a 9-20 record. In their last contest, Sinton was nudged by Jones (Beeville, TX), 61-28, in a league contest.
