The Zion Christian Mountaineers basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Calvary Christian Eagles to 20 in the Mountaineers league victory on Friday.

The Mountaineers now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Muskegon Catholic Central for a Alliance contest on Tuesday, January 31. Zion Christian will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 30-28 non-league loss to Fremont (Fremont, MI). The Crusaders record now stands at 4-8.

The Eagles (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Lee (Wyoming, MI). The Legends come into the Alliance contest with a 1-10 record.
