Spectators at Friday's league test between the Canadian Wildcats (Canadian, TX) and the host Dalhart Wolves (Dalhart, TX), witnessed Canadian's basketball squad topple Dalhart by a margin of 50-37.

The Wildcats (15-5) will now prepare for their test against Tulia (Tulia, TX). The Hornets go into the 3A Region I District 1 test with a 12-19 record. In their last test, Tulia went down by Bushland (Bushland, TX), 55-41, in a league test.

The Wolves now own a 10-8 record. They play next when they travel to Spearman for a 3A Region I District 1 test on Tuesday, January 31. Dalhart will encounter a Lynx squad coming off a 55-16 league win over River Road (Amarillo, TX). The Lynx record now stands at 13-5.
