The Chariton Chargers basketball squad scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Cardinal Comets to 33 in the Chargers non-league victory on Friday.

With the victory, Chariton upgrades its record to 7-8 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Pleasantville (Pleasantville, IA) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 28. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 5-11. Pleasantville lost 49-43 in their recent league bout against Woodward-Granger (Woodward, IA)

Next up, the Comets play the Clarke Indians (Osceola, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Cardinal will attempt to upgrade on its 1-15 season record.
