The Carver College and Career Academy Wolverines basketball team (Chester, VA), was overwhelmed 45-22 in Friday's non-league battle with the host West Point Pointers (West Point, VA)
The Pointers now possess a 3-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to King William for a Tidewater battle on Tuesday, January 31. West Point will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 59-36 league loss to King & Queen Central (King & Queen Court House, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 7-7.
The Wolverines (1-8) will now prepare for their battle against Middlesex (Saluda, VA). The Chargers come into the non-league battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Middlesex was overwhelmed by Mathews (Mathews, VA), 25-19, in a league battle.
