Virginia High School Basketball - Cave Spring overwhelmed by Patrick Henry

The Patrick Henry Patriots basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the host Cave Spring Knights to 45 in the Patriots league victory on Friday.
The Patriots now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Albans for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 28. Patrick Henry will battle a Red Dragons team coming off a 48-39 league loss to Huntington (Huntington, WV). The Red Dragons record now stands at 11-6.
The Knights (15-4) will now prepare for their contest against Salem (Salem, VA). The Spartans come into the River Ridge contest with a 13-6 record. In their last contest, Salem triumphed over Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA), 53-30, in a non-league contest.
