The Western Albemarle Warriors basketball team (Crozet, VA), dropped 43-31 in Friday's league battle with the host Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA)

The Black Knights now sport a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fluvanna County for a Jefferson battle on Tuesday, January 31. Charlottesville will battle a Flying Flucos team coming off a 58-7 league win over Goochland (Goochland, VA). The Flying Flucos record now stands at 13-4.

The Warriors (12-5) will now prepare for their battle against Louisa County (Mineral, VA). The Lions come into the Jefferson battle with a 15-2 record. In their last battle, Louisa County prevailed over Orange County (Orange, VA), 62-13, in a league battle.
