California High School Basketball - Christian trounced by Scripps Ranch

January 27, 2023: El Cajon, CA 92019

The Scripps Ranch Falcons routed the host Christian Patriots basketball team by a final score of 56-24 in Friday's league challenge.

With the victory, Scripps Ranch upgrades its record to 17-4 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Cathedral Catholic (San Diego, CA) to play the Dons in a Western challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Dons come into the challenge with a record of 10-13. Cathedral Catholic lost 47-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Mission Hills (San Marcos, CA)

Next up, the Patriots play the Academy of Our Lady of Peace Pilots (San Diego, CA) in a Western challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Pilots come into the match with a 16-7 record after their 42-39 league win over Lincoln (San Diego, CA).
