In Friday's non-league match, the host Hernando Leopards basketball team scored a decisive 56-15 triumph over the Citrus Hurricanes.

In their next game, the Leopards meet the Crystal River Pirates (Crystal River, FL) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 31. Hernando will attempt to move on its 10-13 season record. The Pirates enter the match with a 14-9 record after their 52-47 non-league loss to Lecanto (Lecanto, FL).
