Clarendon Broncos (Clarendon, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Quanah Indians (Quanah, TX), 45-36 in a league bout.

With the win, Clarendon upgrades its record to 18-4 on the season. The Broncos host Memphis (Memphis, TX) to play the Cyclones in a 2A Region I District 2 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Cyclones go into the bout with a record of 0-15. Memphis lost 83-18 in their recent league bout against Wellington (Wellington, TX)

Next up, the Indians play the Shamrock Irish (Shamrock, TX) in a 2A Region I District 2 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Quanah will attempt to upgrade on its 18-9 season record. The Irish go into the bout with a 10-15 record after their 62-30 league loss to Wheeler (Wheeler, TX).
