The Clarke Central Gladiators basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Loganville Red Devils to 43 in the Gladiators league triumph on Friday.

The Gladiators now sport a 3-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Union Grove for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 28. Clarke Central will meet a Wolverines team coming off a 61-24 league win over Ola (McDonough, GA). The Wolverines record now stands at 16-6.

The Red Devils (13-8) will now prepare for their contest against Jefferson (Jefferson, GA). The Dragons enter the AAAAA Region 8 contest with a 7-15 record. In their last contest, Jefferson was nudged by Eastside (Covington, GA), 66-61, in a league contest.
