Greenville Bears (Greenville, MO) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Clearwater Fightin' Tigers (Piedmont, MO), 50-29 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Greenville upgrades its record to 6-13 on the campaign. The Bears host East Carter (Ellsinore, MO) to play the Redbirds in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Redbirds come into the bout with a record of 6-3. East Carter won 72-47 in their recent non-league bout against Lesterville (Lesterville, MO)

Next up, the Fightin' Tigers play the Southern Reynolds Whippets (Ellington, MO) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 30. Clearwater will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Whippets come into the bout with a 10-7 record after their 71-60 non-league win over Bunker (Bunker, MO).
