Crockett Bulldogs (Crockett, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Coldspring-Oakhurst Trojans (Coldspring, TX), 69-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Crockett upgrades its record to 14-11 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Shepherd (Shepherd, TX) to play the Pirates in a 3A Region III District 23 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 10-6. Shepherd lost 41-26 in their recent league bout against Tarkington (Cleveland, TX)

Next up, the Trojans play the New Waverly Bulldogs (New Waverly, TX) in a 3A Region III District 23 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Coldspring-Oakhurst will attempt to upgrade on its 7-16 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 14-5 record after their 54-39 league loss to Anderson-Shiro (Anderson, TX).
