In Friday's league outing, the College Place Hawks (College Place, WA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Wahluke Warriors (Mattawa, WA), by a margin of 66-28.
The Hawks (11-2) will now prepare for their bout against Toppenish (Toppenish, WA). The Wildcats come into the non-league bout with a 14-3 record. In their last bout, Toppenish overwhelmed Naches Valley (Naches, WA), 55-48, in a league bout.
Next up, the Warriors play the Zillah Leopards (Zillah, WA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 28. Wahluke will attempt to upgrade on its 0-13 season record. The Leopards come into the bout with a 12-5 record after their 61-52 non-league win over Chelan (Chelan, WA).
