Virginia High School Basketball - Craig County overwhelmed by Eastern Montgomery

The Craig County Rockets basketball team (New Castle, VA), was overwhelmed 57-14 in Friday's league battle with the host Eastern Montgomery Mustangs (Elliston, VA)
The Mustangs now possess a 18-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Parry McCluer for a Pioneer battle on Tuesday, January 31. Eastern Montgomery will confront a Fighting Blues team coming off a 40-33 non-league loss to James River (Buchanan, VA). The Fighting Blues record now stands at 13-3.
The Rockets (1-11) will now prepare for their battle against Alleghany (Covington, VA). The Mountaineers come into the non-league battle with a 11-6 record. In their last battle, Alleghany trounced Glenvar (Salem, VA), 49-30, in a league battle.
