Danbury Lakers (Lakeside, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Old Fort Stockaders (Old Fort, OH), 49-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Danbury upgrades its record to 13-4 on the season. The Lakers travel to St. Mary Central Catholic (Sandusky, OH) to clash with the Panthers in a Sandusky Bay - River bout on Saturday, February 4. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 0-17.

Next up, the Stockaders clash with the Margaretta Polar Bears (Castalia, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Old Fort will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Polar Bears go into the bout with a 12-6 record after their 66-31 league win over Edison (Milan, OH).
