The Niles North Vikings basketball team (Skokie, IL), was overwhelmed 90-33 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Deerfield Warriors (Deerfield, IL)
The Warriors now possess a 20-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Forest for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 28. Deerfield will meet a Scouts team coming off a 60-16 league win over Zion-Benton (Zion, IL). The Scouts record now stands at 18-8.
The Vikings (6-16) will now prepare for their contest against Leyden (Franklin Park, IL). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 9-14 record. In their last contest, Leyden was routed by Addison Trail (Addison, IL), 35-33, in a league contest.
