The Waxahachie Indians basketball team (Waxahachie, TX), was overwhelmed 70-41 in Friday's league battle with the visiting DeSoto Eagles (DeSoto, TX)
The Eagles now possess a 19-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mansfield Legacy for a 6A Region II District 11 battle on Tuesday, January 31. DeSoto will confront a Broncos team coming off a 63-54 league loss to Skyline (Dallas, TX). The Broncos record now stands at 20-10.
The Indians (15-16) will now prepare for their battle against Duncanville (Duncanville, TX). The Panthers and Pantherettes come into the 6A Region II District 11 battle with a 24-4 record. In their last battle, Duncanville trounced Cedar Hill (Cedar Hill, TX), 64-61, in a league battle.
