Providence Academy Patriots (Rogers, AR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Destiny Christian Wildcats (Del City, OK), 54-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Providence Academy upgrades its record to 18-4 on the season. The Patriots travel to Purdy (Purdy, MO) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, January 30. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-7. Purdy lost 60-22 in their recent non-league bout against Miller (Miller, MO)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Hoops for Christ Warriors (Oklahoma City, OK) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Destiny Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 12-10 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 49-46 non-league win over Wichita HomeSchool (Wichita, KS).
