Georgia High School Basketball - Mitchell County edged by Early County

The Mitchell County Eagles basketball team (Camilla, GA), was nudged 59-54 in Friday's league battle with the host Early County Bobcats (Blakely, GA)

The Bobcats now possess a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Miller County for a A D2 Region 1B battle on Tuesday, January 31. Early County will confront a Pirates team coming off a 30-19 league win over Pataula Charter Academy (Edison, GA). The Pirates record now stands at 2-11.

The Eagles (11-10) will now prepare for their battle against Seminole County (Donalsonville, GA). The Indians come into the A D2 Region 1B battle with a 10-8 record. In their last battle, Seminole County edged Terrell County (Dawson, GA), 38-31, in a non-league battle.
