With the victory, East Columbus improves its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Gators host Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC) to play the Titans in a 1A/2A Conference 5 challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 3-15. Heide Trask won 40-19 in their recent league challenge against West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC)

Next up, the Wolfpack play the Pender Patriots (Burgaw, NC) in a 1A/2A Conference 5 challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Whiteville will attempt to improve on its 8-8 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 8-10 record after their 46-36 league win over South Columbus (Tabor City, NC).
