North Carolina High School Basketball - Lake Norman Charter trounces East Rowan

The Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC) basketball smashed the host East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC), 64-35 in Friday's league contest.

The Knights now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Rowan for a 3A Conference 48 contest on Tuesday, January 31. Lake Norman Charter will battle a Falcons team coming off a 68-40 league win over Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 19-0.

The Mustangs (9-10) will now prepare for their contest against Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Vikings come into the 3A Conference 48 bout with a 13-7 record. In their last bout, Central Cabarrus overwhelmed South Rowan (China Grove, NC), 54-42, in a league bout.
