In Friday's league outing, the East Wake Academy Eagles (Zebulon, NC) basketball squad felled the visiting Raleigh Charter Phoenix (Raleigh, NC), by a margin of 52-38.
The Eagles (6-8) will now prepare for their outing against Franklin Academy (Wake Forest, NC). The Patriots go into the 1A/2A Conference 12 outing with a 8-14 record. In their last outing, Franklin Academy was beaten by NCSSM: Durham (Durham, NC), 53-24, in a league outing.
The Phoenix now own a 4-10 record. They play next when they host Research Triangle Academy for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 31.
