Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Southeast of Saline Trojans (Gypsum, KS) and the visiting Ellsworth Bearcats (Ellsworth, KS), saw Southeast of Saline's basketball squad knock off Ellsworth by a count of 48-32.

With the victory, Southeast of Saline upgrades its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Trojans host Sacred Heart (Salina, KS) to play the Knights in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 6-7. Sacred Heart won 51-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Trinity (Hutchinson, KS)

Next up, the Bearcats play the Minneapolis Lions (Minneapolis, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Ellsworth will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record.
