North Carolina High School Basketball - Epiphany trounced by John Paul II Catholic

January 27, 2023: New Bern, NC 28562

The John Paul II Catholic Saints routed the host Epiphany Falcons basketball team by a final score of 72-32 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Saints face the Liberty Christian Academy Heat (Richlands, NC) in a non-league game, on Monday, January 30. John Paul II Catholic will attempt to move on its 13-4 season record. The Heat enter the game with a 3-9 record after their 40-31 non-league loss to Epiphany (New Bern, NC).

With the defeat, Epiphany moves to 8-12 on the year. The Falcons travel to Arendell Parrott Academy (Kinston, NC) to face the Patriots in a NCISAA Coastal Plain game on Friday, February 3. The Patriots enter the game with a record of 14-6.
