Falkville Blue Devils (Falkville, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Whitesburg Christian Academy Warriors (Huntsville, AL), 43-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Falkville upgrades its record to 5-8 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to Meek (Arley, AL) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Monday, January 30. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 8-12. Meek won 53-12 in their recent non-league bout against Oakman (Oakman, AL)

Next up, the Warriors play the Ider Hornets (Ider, AL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Whitesburg Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-15 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 81-29 non-league loss to Spring Garden (Spring Garden, AL).
