Fargo North Spartans (Fargo, ND) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Fargo South Bruins (Fargo, ND), 54-30 in a league bout.

With the victory, Fargo North upgrades its record to 3-7 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Red River (Grand Forks, ND) to play the Roughriders in a A East bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Roughriders come into the bout with a record of 11-1. Red River won 51-32 in their recent league bout against Shanley (Fargo, ND)

Next up, the Bruins play the Valley City Hi-Liners (Valley City, ND) in a A East bout, on Friday, February 10. Fargo South will attempt to upgrade on its 0-11 season record.
