Farmersville Farmers (Farmersville, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Ford Panthers (Quinlan, TX), 36-17 in a league bout.

With the victory, Farmersville upgrades its record to 10-13 on the campaign. The Farmers host Caddo Mills (Caddo Mills, TX) to play the Foxes in a 4A Region II District 14 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Foxes come into the bout with a record of 6-15. Caddo Mills won 44-15 in their recent league bout against Ford (Quinlan, TX)

Next up, the Panthers play the Kaufman Lions (Kaufman, TX) in a 4A Region II District 14 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Ford will attempt to upgrade on its 6-22 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 18-9 record after their 61-27 league loss to Sunnyvale (Sunnyvale, TX).
