White Bear Lake Bears (White Bear Lake, MN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Forest Lake Rangers (Forest Lake, MN), 60-54 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, White Bear Lake upgrades its record to 16-3 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Stillwater (Stillwater, MN) to play the Ponies in a AAAA Section 4 bout on Thursday, February 2. The Ponies come into the bout with a record of 15-3.

Next up, the Rangers play the Mounds View Mustangs (Arden Hills, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 2. Forest Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record.
