The Midway Falcons (Henrietta, TX) basketball felled the host Forestburg Longhorns (Forestburg, TX), 59-47 in Friday's league test.
The Falcons (11-17) will now prepare for their test against Prairie Valley (Nocona, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 1A Region III District 22 test with a 8-15 record. In their last test, Prairie Valley went down by Slidell (Slidell, TX), 60-26, in a league test.
The Longhorns now own a 1-13 record. They play next when they travel to Gold-Burg for a 1A Region III District 22 test on Tuesday, January 31. Forestburg will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 60-37 league loss to Saint Jo (Saint Jo, TX). The Bears record now stands at 2-10.
