The Fort Worth Christian Cardinals basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Midland Christian Mustangs to 40 in the Cardinals league triumph on Friday.

The Cardinals now sport a 13-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southwest Christian School for a TAPPS 5A District 1 contest on Tuesday, January 31. Fort Worth Christian will battle a Eagles team coming off a 73-17 league loss to Liberty Christian (Argyle, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 9-14.

The Mustangs (8-20) will now prepare for their contest against Liberty Christian (Argyle, TX). The Warriors enter the TAPPS 5A District 1 contest with a 22-5 record.
