Hillsboro Burros (Nashville, TN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Franklin Admirals (Franklin, TN), 56-36 in a league bout.

With the win, Hillsboro upgrades its record to 12-7 on the season. The Burros host Overton (Nashville, TN) to play the Bobcats in a 4A District 11 bout on Friday, February 3. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 9-9.

Next up, the Admirals play the Centennial Cougars (Franklin, TN) in a 4A District 11 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Franklin will attempt to upgrade on its 4-17 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 6-14 record after their 56-35 league loss to Brentwood (Brentwood, TN).
