Gahr Gladiators (Cerritos, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting La Mirada Matadores (La Mirada, CA), 37-31 in a league bout.

With the win, Gahr upgrades its record to 19-6 on the season. The Gladiators host Firebaugh (Lynwood, CA) to play the Falcons in a San Gabriel Valley bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 6-18. Firebaugh lost 71-28 in their recent league bout against Norwalk (Norwalk, CA)

Next up, the Matadores play the Dominguez Dons (Compton, CA) in a San Gabriel Valley bout, on Tuesday, January 31. La Mirada will attempt to upgrade on its 9-11 season record.
