In Friday's league outing, the Grasso Tech Eagles (Groton, CT) basketball squad nipped the visiting Norwich RVT Warriors (Norwich, CT), by a margin of 27-24.

The Eagles (3-9) will now prepare for their outing against Vinal RVT (Middletown, CT). The Hawks go into the Connecticut Technical outing with a 3-9 record. In their last outing, Vinal RVT was tipped by Cheney RVT (Manchester, CT), 36-27, in a league outing.

The Warriors now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to Old Saybrook for a non-league outing on Monday, January 30. Norwich RVT will clash with a Rams squad coming off a 58-32 league loss to Valley Regional (Deep River, CT). The Rams record now stands at 7-7.
