North Carolina High School Basketball - Green Hope nips Middle Creek

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Green Hope Falcons (Cary, NC) and the visiting Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC), saw Green Hope's basketball team get by Middle Creek by a tally of 56-53.

The Falcons now possess a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cary for a 4A Conference 29 battle on Tuesday, January 31. Green Hope will confront a Imps team coming off a 87-35 league loss to Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC). The Imps record now stands at 2-16.

The Mustangs (7-13) will now prepare for their battle against Panther Creek (Cary, NC). The Catamounts come into the 4A Conference 29 battle with a 16-4 record. In their last battle, Panther Creek edged Apex Friendship (Apex, NC), 91-55, in a league battle.
