The Bears now possess a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vermilion Catholic for a 1A District 7 battle on Tuesday, January 31. Highland Baptist Christian will confront a Eagles team coming off a 64-33 non-league loss to Abbeville (Abbeville, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-6.

The Tigers (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Covenant Christian Academy (Houma, LA). The Lions enter the 1A District 7 contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Covenant Christian Academy nudged Centerville (Centerville, LA), 51-3, in a league contest.
