Illinois High School Basketball - Prospect nudges Hersey

In Friday's league outing, the Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL) basketball squad edged the host Hersey Huskies (Arlington Heights, IL), by a count of 56-52.

The Knights (20-7) will now prepare for their outing against Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL). The Saxons go into the non-league outing with a 15-11 record. In their last outing, Schaumburg was tipped by St. Charles East (St. Charles, IL), 50-48, in a non-league outing.

The Huskies now hold a 20-6 record. They play next when they travel to Mother McAuley for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 28. Hersey will clash with a Mighty Macs squad coming off a 59-55 non-league loss to Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL). The Mighty Macs record now stands at 15-10.
