California High School Basketball - Ojai Valley thwarts Highland Hall

The Ojai Valley Spuds (Ojai, CA) basketball knocked off the host Highland Hall Hawks (Northridge, CA), 30-15 in Friday's league test.
The Spuds (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Beacon Hill (Camarillo, CA). The Gryphon go into the Omega test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Beacon Hill notched a victory over Hillcrest Christian (Thousand Oaks, CA), 28-25, in a league test.
The Hawks now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Newbury Park Adventist for a Omega test on Monday, January 30. Highland Hall will encounter a Gators squad coming off a 29-28 non-league loss to Lodi Academy (Lodi, CA). The Gators record now stands at 5-6.
