The Stone Mountain Pirates basketball team (Stone Mountain, GA), was overwhelmed 71-8 in Friday's league battle with the host Holy Innocents Episcopal Golden Bears (Atlanta, GA)
The Golden Bears now possess a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Miller Grove for a AAAA Region 6 battle on Friday, February 3. Holy Innocents Episcopal will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 53-38 league loss to Hapeville Charter (Atlanta, GA). The Wolverines record now stands at 6-14.
The Pirates (2-14) will now prepare for their battle against Mundy's Mill (Jonesboro, GA). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 11-12 record. In their last battle, Mundy's Mill was overwhelmed by Woodward Academy (College Park, GA), 76-46, in a league battle.
