The Open Bible Christian (Valdosta, GA) basketball knocked off the visiting Hope Christian Academy Lions (Starke, FL), 35-22 in Friday's league test.
The (8-2) will now prepare for their test against Southside Christian (Waycross, GA). The Patriots go into the non-league test with a 15-5 record. In their last test, Southside Christian notched a victory over Victory Christian Academy (Jacksonville, FL), 53-18, in a league test.
The Lions now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they travel to Gainesville Christian Community for a Southeastern Christian test on Tuesday, January 31. Hope Christian Academy will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 52-21 non-league loss to Old Plank Christian Academy (Jacksonville, FL). The Warriors record now stands at 5-8.
